Unlike other tour companies, we don't advertise a destination because we want your experience to be as good as possible, so we pick the best locations with the best conditions for each day.

Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

I've been on a few snorkel/scuba trips in Maui, and the recent one I took with Blue Water Maui is my favorite so far! Blue Water is a relatively new business, but you would have never known given their knowledge and professionalism. You can tell Micah and Mark love their jobs and strive to make it a great day for everyone. Their boat launches from the Mala Boat Ramp in Lahaina, so if you are staying on West Maui this saves a lot of time in terms of traveling to/from the boat. We had scuba divers in our group, and this is one of the few operations that offers both scuba AND snorkel. The max allowed on the boat would be 26 people, and having been on the large snorkel boats before, smaller is better! The spot off Lanai where we spent the day was an excellent place for both activities. It had rained very hard a few days prior in Maui, so the water was still murky in many usual spots; Mark & Micah made sure we anchored somewhere with clarity so we could actually see the fish. The highlight though was encountering a mixed pod of spinner and spotted dolphins that we jumped in the water to swim with. Overall just a fun day with great people that I would book again on any return to Maui. Mahalo!
