Don’t get sucked into the flashing lights of the boardwalk because it’s convenient. Make the 2 minute drive to IFly. Either you toss money slow and painful at arcade games and have nothing to show for it or you can create memories the whole family can partake in. Their website says ages 3 and up, and special needs assistance available as well. In fact one of the employees is autistic and he was amazing in the tunnel. Our flight instructor was Josh who was the newest staff member and a younger dude. He was aces with all the kids, and is able to move around in the wind like he was born mid air in just 9 months!! From the moment you call to book (I spoke with Kendall) you’ll notice a few things that make IFly a no brainer. First, they’re personal, and patient when you ask questions and the wont patronize you when you ask the dumb ones like I did. Second, it’s safety first and everyone on staff knows the sport of indoor skydiving, and they know how to have FUN!! For a staff full of youth they know people as well, there aren’t enough stars to give this team. I don’t know if you’re allowed to ask for your instructor or not but try. Ask for Josh, if you’re happy with him or whomever you get, time is money (in no way we’re we prompted, or did anyone insinuate leaving a tip) and the smiles on my kids faces combined with some major fears conquered because of his confidence in his abilities were absolutely worth a couple extra bucks for him. Carnival=light your money on fire and wake up the next day feeling used. IFly is an investment into just one part of making your next trip the most memorable.
