At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
It is recommended to bring a light jacket and close-toed shoes
A maximum of 4 guests per booking
The tour uses a Ford F-150 that has been modified for off-road use. This truck sits higher up than usual. You must be able to get in and out of the truck unassisted.

Scott took me on a 3-hour tour of the park with special emphasis on the lava and it's formations and Chain of Craters Road. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the park, the volcano and lava were great and he showed me details and places I would have missed traveling on my own. Plus he was great about taking pics of me. Had I went on my own, there would have been noone to do so. He pointed out some good hikes and other things in the area to further check out on my own. Scott's a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who is passionate about ensuring you see what you want to see most and helps to make that happen.

Good trip. Enjoyed the personal attention and knowledge tidbits. If I was going to do again, I think I would go for the early morning tour to see the glow of the volcano.

Scott gave us an incredible private tour. He is very knowledgeable and most hospitable. He kept us way out in front of the tour buses during our private tour. In addition to the Volcanoes National Park Scott took us to an orchid house, Mauna Loa macadamia plantation, Twin Falls, Hawaiian Candy Company and to Richardson Park for a walk on a black sand beach.
