I booked this tour as I had a friend from out of town who was interested in this. As a native New Yorker who has worked in the Wall Street area for years, I didn't think that I would be as interested in this tour as he was, but I was totally wrong! First things first, Jared was an INCREDIBLE guide. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the history and inner workings of Wall Street (as a former trader), he was totally engaging with every single person in our group, learned everyone's name and hometown immediately, and made sure that everyone felt included (kids too!). He answered all questions, was very humorous and left everyone wanting more time with him. The tour encompassed many of the "important" buildings and landmarks of the area and was definitely walkable for everyone. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed Jared's insights and perspectives. If you book this tour, ask to be in Jared's group - you won't be disappointed.

A group of friends and I visit New York most years and when I put the itinerary together I try to throw in a few new experiences as well as the old favourites, bars, jazz clubs and so forth. Last year we went for a Sunday jazz brunch down in the Fraunces Tavern (financial district) and whilst there I noticed some guided walking tours of the area, mentally saving them for this year. I organised a Wall Street Insider tour with Experience First for this Sunday just gone.Straightforward booking, good communication both on booking and in the immediate period leading up to the tour, giving times, locations etc clearly. The 6 of us made our way to Broad Street and, as promised, our guide George was there to greet us. There were 2 other groups of 2 on our tour and once we had all assembled George began. We actually didn’t move from our meeting point for about 10 minutes-this was actually really invaluable and George took the time to put the geography, history and surroundings into context. The tour lasts about 1 hr 40 minutes (depending on questions) and covers about a mile. George has a rich heritage in the banking sector in New York and this was obvious in the way that he answered our questions. His delivery is great too. He used a mic and a small speaker even though our group was relatively small, being aware of the occasionally louder surroundings, traffic etc. His delivery is measured and he has a dry sense of humour-it was definitely appreciated by us Brits. This was a great introduction to the world of finance in the US-I understand that there are further tours that go a bit deeper if you wanted to do that. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour, company, and particularly George. Well with the money and a highlight of our trip.

Our tour guide, Nicola, was very engaging and shared very interesting and some unexpected stories of the area at/around NYSE. He also did a nice job of including the children who were part of the tour group.
