The DC Cart Tour by Moonlight was the highlight of our trip. Our guide Paul was both knowledgeable and entertaining. The monuments are beautiful at night and our stops were long enough to see what we wanted to see without feeling rushed. The crowds were lighter than in the daytime, as well. A good time was had by all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our moonlight tour and had Joel as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable but also took the effort to find out where we were from and added his unique humour. This was one of the highlights of our stay in Washington DC and wouldn’t hesitate to recommended to others. The city comes alive at night and this is a perfect way to see it.

The tour was great. Intrepid Travels, the company who ran the tour was great. VIATOR, however, dropped the ball. The tour company did not have a reservation for us in their system. Fortunately, we did have a copy of our paid reservation confirmation and, although they were fully booked and could not accommodate us that evening, the tour company offered us a tour on a different night. We were very appreciative of their assistance as we could not find a phone number or email for customer service for VIATOR. I recommend booking directly with Intrepid Travels. As for the actual tour, we had a great time. Our tour guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We had tons of great photo opportunities and more than enough time at each stop to look around. The monuments are gorgeous by moonlight and not nearly as crowded as during the day. We highly recommend the experience.
