From start to finish this was an horrendous experience booked for a special occasion - bitterly disappointing and wasting one whole evening of our precious few days vacation On embarking the greeter who has a serious anti customer issue refused us a window seat - even though there were empty window tables - we had to go to the manager The service was painfully inadequate and slow - the waiter admitted it himself and apologised - we waited over half an hour for our wine and then had to go to the bar for our own drinks They boasted free teas and coffees - there wasn’t any offers forthcoming or a coffee cup in sight The bad mannered greeter finally brought our meals and pitched them down on the table with such an Appaling attitude It was hot and stuffy - it transpired the air con was broken - the manager admitted this Our beleaguered waiter got more and more stressed - he was undertrained and the boat was understaffed - and agreed the service and experience was rubbish Steer clear of this bitterly disappointing and below standard trip - and take your hard earned money elsewhere

After looking at the reviews, I was somewhat skeptical that this was going to be a fun cruise. However, it was one of our best nights in Washington DC. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are complaining about but we had a great time with great food and great staff. We went on the dinner cruise up and down the Potomac Rive last Monday. The chicken and the salmon were both very good, fresh, hot and moist. The salad was good. The fresh dinner rolls wer hot snd fresh. The dessert table had amazing options, and I loved the carrot cake. The waitress who served us was LACHELLE C and she was super nice and friendly and very attentive, and she made a cruise very pleasurable. We would highly recommend this cruise in Washington DC
