We specialize in whale watching in small groups, 6 to 15 passengers total on our tours, This allows for a more personalized experience and why most people chose our tours over other competitors. Our vessels are 32 and "38 feet long" and 6 to 16 passengers, Our competitors are 38 feet with over 30 passengers. want to feel like sardines in a can or like cattle being herded together then our competitors are the choice for you. We provide Pickup and drop off from just outside the cruise ship facility. As a bounus we pick you up in one of our limousine.

This was a fantastic excursion from the beginning to end. Limo ride in style from our ship to the dock where Captain Dennis was waiting for us. It's rare to get a tour with not only very few people (5 people on this comfortable boat), but a highly skilled captain who knows his whales. At first we followed the one whale in the area with about 4 other boats, but Dennis quickly spotted another one and we had our own whale for the rest of the trip. Then a look at the sea lions, a brief unsuccessful bear hunt (hard to find bears on demand!) and back in. It is because of this captain's skill that we were able to see so much on a day of somewhat rough seas. His boat, however, skimmed the waves as we watched other boats getting batted around. There is no doubt Captain Dennis would be my #1 choice when returning to Hoonah / Icy Strait Point!

Thank you for a awesome review you are to kind. As you saw that day, mother nature is in control. I love the flat calm days but when it isn't I am always impressed with how our vessel handles it so well.

Awesome experience. Picked up from the port in a limo and taken to Hoonah docks. Saw eagles, sea otters, bears, sea lions, cranes, and if course whales. Great time and I would highly recommend!

I have been on a lot of cruises and a ton of excursions and this was by far the best. We were picked up from Icy Strait Point in a Limo by the sweetest lady (Crystal) and taken to the docks in Hoonah wete we met Captain Dennis. My girlfriend and I were the only two on the tour. Usually, there are 6 people. Snacks and water were provided and Dennis was very knowledgeable of the area. We saw bald eagles, bears, sea lions, sea otters, cranes, and of course Whales! I would highly recommend this tour company over the others.
