The train ride had incredible scenery and was breathtaking. The train went along sides of mountains and through tunnels where the landscape was picturesque. The train cars were not full and provided a lot of opportunity to move about and get great shots. Water was provided and was a nice touch. John, our guide, ensured we got on the train and was there when we arrived in Fraser, BC. The bus ride back to Skagway was very informative as John provided an array of history and stories about the various scenery and landmarks as we headed back on our 30-40 minute ride to town. He also stopped at a couple of sites so we could get great pictures. Would definitely recommend this tour if visiting Skagway on any cruise ship! G. Tokessy, Kanata, Ontario, Canada

The bus was in time. Our guide was very nice and helpful, full of great stories. It didn't hurt that he reminded me of Stan Lee It's MUCH cheaper that the tours offered by the cruise lines. You are picked up at the docks We took the shorter tour but... i would suggest taking the longer tour that takes you deeper in to Canada.. I was not too thrilled when out bus turned back and the other buses kept going :) We did see a bear on the way back but most of the other wild life was as we drove by. Even though it was the shorter tour, it was worth the money. Of course the scenery was absolutely beautiful. .

Our Norwegian ship docked in Skagway and the tours offered by the ship didn’t look too good so went on Trip Advisor and booked this tour. Brian, our guide was waiting right outside the exit area for private, non ship affiliated tours. Everything went perfectly smooth. Brian is very proud of his town and loved to tell the history from a person who lives year round in Skagway, not just a summer seasonal guy. We drank water coming right off the glacier, went into BC via Highway. All I can say is that the tour and time was well worth the $39. It was worth much more.
