Minimum age is 5 years old. Guests must be at least 12 years old to paddle the Piers Gorge section of the river. Guests under the age of 12 must watch from the shore with an adult for that section.

We had planned the Menominee River Whitewater Rafting Wild Ride in advance. The night before our rafting trip, I emailed and booked a zip line tour for the morning of the rafting. I also telephoned, to be sure we were on the same page. The reservations/additions went very smoothly. All employees were very friendly & helpful. Anthony & Jeff were our zip line guides. They were very knowledgeable and safety-conscious, even though they "seemed" goofy. They had us singing, yelling, and screaming on the zip lines, and we had contests for best, worst, and most creative rides. We had a blast, but we also knew we were in good hands. For the wild ride (white water rafting), Jeff was our guide. Since we had met him that am, we were the first raft on the river. We have been swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with stingrays, scuba, and much more... But our 17 & 19 year old daughters enjoyed this much more than any other adventure we've ever been on! Jeff was an awesome river guide, and he just seemed to mesh with our family. When we hit Volkswagen Rock, and my daughter cross-tackled my husband out of the raft, Jeff had her back in the boat before I could turn around! This was possibly the BEST adventure we have ever had. If you go here, ask for Jeff and/or Anthony! We will definitely be back!

I've been rafting on several rivers throughout the states, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience with Wildman on both the Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers. The guides were engaging and very patient with my children. The Menominee trip is shorter than most class IV rivers, but this is the midwest! The scenery is gorgeous, we even saw an eagle on the trip.

My husband and I went for a weekend. This was the absolute best camping adventure of my life. We stayed at the Peshtigo resort, but drove to the Menominee resort for our adventures; which was about a 45 minute drive, but was mostly country roads so it was fine. The campsite was right on the water, which was so relaxing as there were rapids near. The most soothing sound!! I am usually a resort kind of girl, but this tenting was so fun, the sites were amazing! The staff was amazing. I actually locked my keys in the car and one of the workers family members lived up the street and unlocked my car and wouldn't let me pay him for it. Anyway, the fishing here was amazing, so much fun. The adventures we did were whitewater rafting and zip-lining. Both our tour guides were awesome. James was our rafting guide and was AMAZING!!! It was pretty impressive he was guiding 2 boats and was spectacular. Super nice (and pretty hot). Morgan was our zip-lining guide and was awesome too!! This place has the absolute best staff, so friendly! The bathrooms were clean, takes quarters as a sidenote. Had a fun volleyball court, which the workers were playing and allowed me to get in on a game. Great adventures will do the kayaking next year. Highly recommend!!!!!
