Whitefish Dunes State Park
Whitefish Dunes State Park protects the fragile dune environment on the eastern Door County Peninsula. Kayak along Lake Michigan and spot your favorite trail to hike after your tour, the trails run throughout the huge sand dunes and forest. A nature center features year-round programs, exhibits and displays. The park's reservable picnic shelter overlooks Lake Michigan and is adjacent to the nature center, beach and hiking trails
2
Cave Point County Park
Cave Point County Park is perhaps the most iconic natural landscape in all of Door County. Revered by divers, photographers, swimmers, hikers, and all who visit, the beautifully carved rock faces lining the blue waters of Lake Michigan are quintessentially Door County. While not a state or national park, Cave Point has no shortage of majesty. Local county officials preserve the park, offering free admission to the picnic areas, trails, and spectacular views just up the beach from Whitefish Dunes State Park. The park is split between the Townships of Sturgeon Bay and Jacksonport, and only a short drive from Bailey's Harbor, Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, or Fish Creek.

We had a great time, it was a beautiful day when we went, and it was a small group. The pace was good and the guide was super friendly.

Very fun but weather made it harder but our guide made the most of it. We weren’t able to go to the caves on kayaks but she took us down there in the bus. Very friendly staff and easy going
