Booked a class one through three River rafting trip as we had a eight year-old and a nine-year-old in our party along with five adults.
They are able to make sure that our family stay together even though we booked each reservation separately.
Very family oriented and chill group of professionals who prioritize safety. They have a very smooth system of getting your gear giving you specific instructions and keeping it lighthearted while making sure that you’re safe.
If you have young children and prefer a more scenic and less bumpy ride, do the wild wave river and if you want higher class rapids and more thrills, do the canyon trail .
Very good instructions on what to wear, and then they give your dry suit helmet, life jacket. No paddles because this was the gentler of the two trips. I believe the canyon people had to paddles to help maneuver the rougher waters.
TRRA - yes that is how it is spelled- was our guide. She is the fearless and jovial guide for the trip. Very personable, professional, experienced, problem solver, extraordinaire.
She made sure that the two kids were in the safest parts of the boat. We had some very nice waves, but were not scary for the children. The trip had a nice mixture of thrills as well as meditative moments. The weather was on our side.
The best part of our trip was probably when we got stuck on a little rock because our boat was so heavy, and it took a little bit of maneuvering too rock off of the boat. She kept her calm, her optimism, enthusiasm, motivation. She never lost her cool and directed us appropriately on how to help our raft get on with the mission. Great attitude. Great role modeling for the children. I want to do in stressful and complicated situations.
Would recommend her on any trip!
