Your first stop is olive oil tasting in the quaint town of Los Olivos.

Solvang

This is a leisurely guided bike ride through the Santa Barbara Wine Country. Meet your tour guide at our retail store in the village of Solvang at 9:00am. You depart shortly after and roll past local apple orchards, pastoral farms and picturesque vineyards.

Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours

This tour visits a lavender farm where you will learn how fresh lavender is pressed into oil. Enjoy a Farm-to-table lunch sourced from the local farmer’s market consisting of a seasonal, heirloom organic salad, an artisinal charcuterie cheese plate, fresh local fruit and a homemade french baguette. Lunch is followed by wine tasting. Vehicle support available to transport wine & olive oil purchases. Your your continues after lunch past bucolic vineyard land and oak-studded countryside before arriving back at our store in Solvang.

Arriving at the tour shop at 9:00AM, our guides will fit you to your bikes, and we'll get a chance to get to know how they ride as we stroll around the quite town of Ballard, just until we feel comfortable heading out on the open road

Neverland Ranch

Pedaling through the town of Los Olivos, around 10:00, we'll head down a stunning country road, making for the base of the San Rafael mountains. Coming to a stop at what was the King of Pop's residents, well get some incredible views of the native chaparral and oak ecosystems.

Around 11:30 the tour visits a lavender farm where you will learn how fresh lavender is pressed into oil. we'll also get a chance to stroll through the family owned and operated property, enjoying their gallery and gift shop.

Lincourt Vineyards

At 12:00 we'll make our way from the lavender farm to a neighboring biodynamic vineyard. Here you'll enjoy a catered farm-to-table lunch and a flight of fine wines from a family owned and operated winery, known in particular for their Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon varietals.

This tour was simply perfect! Scott and Denis were the warmest, most capable and informative guides. The route was gorgeous. Figueroa mountain road has breathtaking views, an easy terrain and lots of room to ride with ease. E-bikes were optional, and not necessary if you’re comfortable riding a bike in easy- moderate terrain. The breaks were timed perfectly, and the food was delicious. They even surprised us with cupcakes for my sister’s birthday celebration. We felt like we were long lost friends with our guides at the end of our tour. We all want to come back and bring all our friends!

My son and I spent a wonderful, fun and relaxing day riding e-bikes and learning about the area with our tour guide, Scott. I have ridden in this area several times but knew nothing about the background of the region. Scott gave us an entertaining history lesson, and the lunch and the wine tastings were a terrific added bonus. I highly recommend this tour!
