During the winter Denali National Park truly turns into a winter wonderland with breathtaking views, scenic photo opportunities and incredible vast wilderness.

We will take you 12 miles past the park entrance to Mountain Vista pullout area where, on clear days, you can get amazing shots of Mt. Denali, the tallest mountain in North America! Occasionally, Denali can be not visible due to cloud cover however the winter months are the clearest with the best chance for amazing views. Nonetheless, getting to drive in and experience the lowland vegetation, wildlife and learn park history is an incredible experience.

This is one of our favorite national parks and seeing it in the winter is an unmatched experience.

Denali National Park and Preserve

Drive 12 miles into Denali National Park to Mountain Vista Overlook. Enjoy boundless sightseeing on this drive with stops along the way for picture taking and wildlife.

Mount McKinley

See Mount Denali aka Mount McKinley at Mile 12 inside the park.

Denali Visitor Center

We stop and experience the Denali Visitor Center with amenities, gift shopping, educational movies and more.

Healy

See the town of Healy, Alaska. We stop for restrooms if necessary as well as on way back.

Fairbanks

We will start and end the tour from Fairbanks, Alaska.
