38

39

Mariposa Grove.

This is a very nice way to tour the park. Recorded commentary is triggered at certain points along the way with information and instructions about upcoming features just ahead. Very easy to manage and convenient. The only negative I can say is that the guide uses “we” and “us”as if he is in the car with you. “Just ahead we need to decide if we want to…” A bit distracting at first, but I got used to it.

Hi Mark, thanks for sharing how much you enjoyed our audio tour through Yosemite. Many of our users enjoy feeling as though 'Ranger Bob' (or a multitude of other names that he's been given!) are there in the car with them. We hope to join you on the road again soon.

The app never worked. It just opened from the start of app up to the narrator explaining the process. After that It stopped. According to the narrator it will automatically start explaining passing by a certain point, but I already circled Yosemite 16 times still no voice coming from the app, and my location indicator never changed. I completed my Yosemite tour with that app so quite unlike my previous tour with lake Tahoe.

Hi Andy, if your location marker isn't tracking your location it indicates the gps chip on your phone isn't working, or you haven't accepted permission for location-service. We have tips listed in the help menu and a toll free number for support, but didn't hear from you. Please reach out to us. GG.

Great audio, but it did stick a few times and did not pick up so I had to restart the feed. It was informative and helpful and gave places to stop.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience on our Yosemite Audio Tour. We're so glad you enjoyed the offline commentary and information. The issues you described are a little unusual, was the device plugged in to the car's USB outlet? We do note in the 'Help' section of the app that this can cause issues, as well as some other troubleshooting tips. And if you ever need help from a real person, we're always just a call away!
