The excursion was just "okay"...I think it could be improved if they explain in the description what to expect as far as how fast the tour operator wants people to drive their jet skis (30-40mph is what we were told once we were on the jet skis, sitting in the water, while still near the docks and before starting off on our tour). For newbies, that can be a very intimidating speed. I'm no tour operator, but a few possible suggestions come to mind: offer two separate groups per tour (novice and advanced), offer separate groups at different times of day, or at the very least explain this within the marketing materials.
Outside of that, I found the points-of-interest on the tour to be really too far away to take much in. During our tour, the guide mentioned that Boca Chica beach is the southernmost point in the continental U.S., but that is actually Key West...so it made me wonder about the accuracy of other info. Going under one bridge within Port Isabel was a slight yoga activity - the bridge was so low that we had to duck down to the level of the handlebars, a feat that was difficult for my tall husband with arthritis. I was also really looking forward to seeing dolphins on the trip - we did see just a few but it was for literally about one minute. That's outside of the tour operator's control, I know, but I'm just sharing in the review to help any future travelers manage expectations. I know I have been on many other dolphin tours where we saw hundreds for a long time...just know that this is not it.
Positive points - easy check in, patient tour guide, and fun (yet also a bit unnerving) experience to ride a jet ski.
