This was the highlight of our two week vacation with our grandson. Our river guide Eldon navigated expertly. All six boats worked together as we floated down the Animas and enjoyed the beauty. We even saw a hummingbird nest under the bridge. We were drenched with the cold river water when we rafted through the rapids. I have to admit I was a little worried about this part but it was so much fun! We laughed, had a great time and made lifetime family memories. I observed how carefully the River Trippers team worked together to make sure everyone was safe and able to have a good time. I highly recommend that you work this into your schedule.

Ayla was an awesome guide!! Knowledgeable and skilled at rafting but also fun to talk to with great energy and outdoor spirit! All the staff were fun and friendly. The river was quite full the time we went so a few of the rapids were about class III and really fun and definitely got wet! The water is always cold so I definitely recommend renting the splash jackets even in the summer. It was in the high 80s the day we went and still were very thankful we had them. Worth the $5!

Sydney did a great job! Everyone was helpful and kind, the River was COLD but beautiful, and our kids had a blast! We will definitely do it again!
