2.5 Hour Tour in Ketchikan on the Tongass Trolley

Преглед
Are you looking to see the best of Ketchikan in a short time with a chance of wildlife? The Tongass Trolley tour is for you! Enjoy the sights while your Guide shares Ketchikan's colorful history in a replicated 1800's cable car trolley. You begin the journey with a short drive past an eagle's nest to Saxman Native Village where you will disembark to experience the largest collection of Tlingit and Haida totem poles. Your Guide will share the rich cultural story each totem tells while you walk around the grounds of the village. The next stop is at a small cove for an opportunity to see wildlife. Of course, wildlife is never guaranteed, but there is a good chance of sightings at this location. The last stop is a short drive to Rainbow Falls where you will stop to enjoy a photo op in front of the beautiful falls. After a scenic coastal drive back to town, we will drop you at the historic district of Creek Street or back to where the tour began. You will love where we take you!

Kevin was our driver/tour guide. He handled all our expectations leaving late because we were waiting for another family to arrive. He tailored our experience to show us waterfalls, beaches and wildlife including a bear, harbor seals and we even saw humpback whales feeding about 100 yards offshore! Great time was had by all & we were back to the ship with time to spare! I highly recommend the Trolley Tour!

Unfortunately having travelled all the way from the UK bad weather meant that the ship could not dock in Ketchikan… we were only given short notice and therefore were unable to cancel our booking within the 24 hours … very disappointed at losing hard earned money and even more not being able to visit Ketchikan.

We had a great tour. Our guide was so full of information. The sights were beautiful. We saw salmon, harbor seals, and even a black bear. He did a great job reading the totem poles at Saxman village for us. I highly recommend this tour
