It is a tourist trap because of the location of there selling point in Fisherman Wharf. First of all, It seemed that the guide, Igor, was making an effort to be there, zero enthusiasm when speaking, requesting tips that he did not deserve. The only part of the tour that was really good was Sausalito, because our guide/driver make a good effort to keep us interested and informed about what we were seeing, a very enthusiastic young man. When we took the bus to continue the tour in San Francisco, we felt we were coming back from work on that bus. The driver never spoke, only to announce the stops. We decided to get off and wait for the next bus hopping that there were a guide who explain the tour,. The next bus was supposed to be there in 20 minutes.... we waited for 35 minutes and the bus never showed up. We finally decided to request and uber to continue our tour. It was a disaster. Definitely, I do not recommend this company.

We did the 2-day hop on hop off tour and it was wonderful! We did Sausalito and also the Golden Gate Trolley tour. So beautiful!

We took this tour through our cruise line. Our guide for both days was Beth. Boy does she know her stuff. I am a native Californian and have been to SF many times but I really didn't get a real feel for the history and scope of what is SF until I took this tour. The tour lasted 2 1/2 hours. You would think with the amount of traffic and construction that time frame who be flexible. But they were able to stop along the way for people to hop on and hop off and still get back to the last stop as advertised. I would recommend taking a jacket as the stops near Golden Gate Park and bridge are quite windy and cold compared to the rest of the stops. We were going to get off at Union Square but the construction was so bad decided not to. Another way this tour helped was by seeing everything first to know where to see and go according to local conditions. Definitely a must for first timers or anyone who wants to get a lay of the land. Be sure to ask for Beth...she is great!
