I can not recommend the walking tours enough. We had an amazing, intimate “Gold Rush Daze” tour with Kyle Green and he absolutely knocked it out of the park with incredible insights into the city’s history. We also had a great time on Joseph’s Summer of Love tour through. Haight Asbury. The bus tours were a little hit or miss depending on the tour and the guide but we cannot recommend Chris enough. She was engaging and kept us on the bus waiting for the next tidbits of information. The night tour was fun and had some great photo ops at Palace of Fine Arts and Treasure Island. The recorded audio tour was not great. Make sure you have a live guide.

I just finished two days hop-on-hop off in San Francisco. I knew about them because I used them in Dublin as well two summers ago. They are awesome! Every tour guide is a character and you learn so much about the history of the city that you wouldn’t otherwise.

Today I jumped off a 16 hour flight and had already had this booked, as I couldn’t book into my hotel. I dropped my luggage and went straight to your tour to be told he couldn’t scan my ticket and to get on the bus and get off at the first stop and they’ll sort it out. Sure buddy, after paying for my ticket prior and just getting off a long haul flight, I really want to create additional stress for myself! Then to get onto the bus with a crude Nd really not very informative tour guide, I’m no prude but one lady lousy complained to him about his comments! Then to get off at the last stop as I wasn’t getting off at the first. To get my ticket properly scanned, I encountered a rude kid who was more interested in his phone and giggling with his co worker than sorting out my issue. He then said, “I’ve had a stressful day” have ya buddy. Let me tell you about mine, but I didn’t bother. Then I had to wait over an hour to get back on a return bus. I’ve paid for tomorrow and will be visiting your office when I’m back down there to request my refund as today was dismal. So NOT waste your money with this company. Thanks for ruining my first day for my first time in San Francisco you unprofessional fools.
