San Francisco Night Tour
This live narrated 60–90-minute tour of San Francisco shows you the most vibrant neighborhoods of the city. On the way back the tour continues along the waterfront, passing the Embarcadero and Ferry Building before returning to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf.

We did the 48 hour hop-on hop-off City Sightseeing Tour in San Francisco which is now part of the GrayLine tours. It was a bit confusing at first as we weren't aware that both busses did the same tours. We also had to wait over an hour at two of the stops (one we decided to rather walk than wait). Other than that the tour was fantastic. Most of the busses had live guides who were all entertaining and informative. A highlight was going across the golden gate bridge to Sausalito which was included in our 2 day pass. In hindsight we should have spent more time there and gotten something to eat. Another highlight was the walking tour we did from Golden Gate Park which was also included - 'Peace, Love and Haight'. The tour was done by Tarek who was really informative and was able to answer all our questions. He explained the history of the area, the hippies (some of whom still seem to be hanging around) and showed us some of the architecture of the city, including some houses where famous people lived. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend if for the price.

We were using these buses the end of February before a cruise to Hawaii so we didn't have lots of winter gear which we desperately needed. Some buses were open downstairs and up above was almost unbearable. There are far more seats on top than down below. You welcomed the sun but the wind was bad. Some of the buses have this film on the windows which make it near impossible to take a picture. And if there was heat down below, you could not feel it. It's a good way to see the city and what it has to offer, but make sure to check the weather and bring more clothes than you think you will need.

Narrated - not all buses were!!! They were not as frequent as other bus companies. You had to get on and off to do Sausalito whereas other companies didn't. The night tour was fantastic and well worth doing.
