Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Overall we had an amazing experience. To begin, being our first kayaking trip we underestimated the effort and having a 3 year old in tow added to the challenge. But our guide Ashley was amazing! She made sure that all of us were comfortable and guided us so we could have the experience we signed up for. She was very informative, helpful and approachable. The location was great and our 3 year old had so much fun. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the 5 stars!! The first half of the tour can definitely be a bit of a work out but we take some stops along the way to let everyone break and get out of the kayaks! We love Ashley and we're so glad you enjoyed your time on the water with her!!

This was a great small group outing. Ashley did a great job taking us through and helping everyone maneuver through the water. She was very knowledgeable and experienced with the kayak and the surrounding area including the vegetation and proper care to keep it beautiful. We got out and swam around a couple of times and there was no hurry so we could truly enjoy it! Thank you Ashley!
