I took my daughter and wife to L.A. last weekend. It was my daughters first trip. When I found a groupon for Hollywood Tourz , I was thrilled. I keep telling my daughter how great these bus tours were. I have done them in the past and it saved me from driving around with a map.it allowed me to enjoy the scenary without driving. First, They had changed locations and I was sent to at least 3 different locations before someone called the tour company for me and than gave me the correct location. Second, my driver Johnny J or whatever his name was , was possibly the worst tour guide in the world.He looked as if he was stoned out of his mind. He had a headset on and keep making these funny noises with his teeth and mouth. 1 1/2 hours of him picking his teeth with the headset on was awefully annoying. The whole tour was laughing at him. Third, He not only looked like Joe Walsh, his whole tour was based on music. Stopping at The Guitar Center for 15 minutes wasn't my idea of a tour. He sang the whole tour into the headset.He repeatly passed by the Whiskey, Roxy , Rainbow and Troubador. Saying the same thing about everyone. Fourth, It took him an hour just to show us any celebrity houses. No one cares about Lucille Ball or Judy Garland. The tour lasted 1 1/2 hours and we didn't see any houses besides Bob Barker, Lucy and Judy Garland. Oh yeah, we saw Dr. Phil's house. The tour was supposed to be 2 hours and was a little under and hour and a half.Our driver than told us that his only pay was our tips and he insisted on opening the door in the end to try and get more money. I really wanted to impress my daughter with this sight seeing experience. She is only 11 years old and she told me that my tour was better than his. She was right. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY OR TRY A DIFFERENT TOUR. DON'T GET BAITED IN BY THE PRICE AND INTERNET AD LIKE I DID !!!!
