Go back in time on an extraordinary journey starting at a secluded prehistoric archaeological and aquatic preserve mangrove jungle merely a short distance from the bustling Fort Pierce inlet. This jungle is off the beaten path, made by nature, uncut and not groomed for tourism, therefore; it is inaccessible to motorized watercraft and rarely visited by other tours. Glide through the labyrinth of uncut narrow nature-made, fully-shaded, low hanging tree tunnels and waterways. See the beauty, hear just the sounds of nature and feel the tranquility during this unique escape.

As you emerge from the mangrove jungle, a winding open waterway invites you to explore shallow sandbars where fascinating small marine life abound. Witness many species of avian wildlife from the large great blue heron to the small songbirds as they go about their daily routines.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing 3 hr kayak tour through the rustic mangrove jungle and lagoon. Owners, Mark and Fabia were wonderful guides. Mark provided lots of information on the local wildlife and the prehistoric archaeological preserve site we kayaked through. All very interesting. Fabia took lots of photos and a video (with our permission) and shared them with us at the end of the tour. The kayaks were extremely comfortable with amazing seats…no backaches! Parking was easy and very close to the kayaks. Mark and Fabia have created a super thoughtful and fun experience. We highly recommend Rivers to Ocean Kayaking for a wonderful experience.

A really wonderful couple of hours. The kayak was very. Omfortable for the two of us, the calm and peaceful journey was a delight. Mark and Fabia were delightful, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Highly recommend this adventure.

A "Secret Realm" is a perfect way to describe the beautiful aquatic preserve that we get the honor to show our guests in an unhurried tour. It was fun to watch you enjoy every moment inside the dense mangrove forest; including crabs, stingrays on the sandbars in the watery trails and of course, the birds that you love so much.
