I took my inexperienced wife and teenage grandson for rafting experience. Their pretrip anxieties were relieved by the courteous and professional staff , who answered their questions and assisted them with wet suits, changing areas, etc..our experience was complemented by the guide and his jokes. It was obvious that he and the other guides thoroughly enjoyed their jobs. Our guide encouraged proper paddling technique, which put in the best part of the rapids with the balance of thrill and safety. We switched lead positions along the way , giving my grandson even more excitement. We talked for weeks about the day ,that was one of 45 visiting multiple national parks. Our only regret is that I didn’t book the full day . We plan to correct that within the next 2 years , when we rebook with Wild West rafting. The owner, who drove the bus back to the business, despite the 2020 virus was upbeat and forward looking in his life perspective. We went in mid June, when the high spring runoff had partially settled.
