A local permitted guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park!

We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands.

See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges & Carriage House, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. See Sand Beach surrounded by the famous pink granite coastline.

We can stop and explore as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to see on your own.

We had a fabulous experience during the 3 hour private tour of Acadia! I communicated with the Tour Provider to communicate that we were on shore (Cruise Ship Tender) and to determine our meeting place. She assured me that Mary would call me and arrange a pick up location convenient for our group, allowing us to continue site seeing in the quaint town. Mary called and picked us up right where we were about 15 minutes later! She greeted us with a big hug and welcoming smile. It was like reconnecting with an old friend!! She toured us briefly through the town, pointing our the important homes and unique visitors to the area. We learned about events that impacted the town and it's residents. Mary had stories, experience and visual aides to enhance the tour!! We then headed for Acadia National Park and observed fabulous vistas and sites! Mary answered all our questions, called us by name and ensured we got great views and photos at every turn. We were able to hike some of the more scenic trails while Mary graciously waited for us to check out the views and enjoy a blueberry soda! We saw it all!!! The cherry on top of this fabulous tour was her recommendation for a great lobster lunch with clam chowder and blueberry pie! ... and yes Mary we got the ice cream and the whipped cream on top! What an outstanding tour and tour guide!!! We went back to our ship all smiles! Thanks Mary, until we meet again!!

This was a three hour private tour of Acadia and Cadillac Mountain. We were a party of six and just fit into a mini-van with our tour guide Pete. He did a great job sharing all about Acadia and the park. There was some walking around, but certainly not too much. The Thunder Hole was not thundering on our visit and frankly seemed a bit over-hyped but there were certainly some great views. Overall this national park is not quite as spectacular as some others we have visited, but the tour was good and a worthwhile way to see it.

I had the best tour of the park with our guide Mary P. I would go on ANY tour with Mary! She had terrific energy and was incredibly knowledgable about the history of Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat’l Park. We saw and learned so much and had time to hop out for great views and chances to walk on the short loop trail at the top yet I never felt rushed. My friends and I all loved this tour and Mary, our guide, made it incredibly fun and interesting with her stories of the area and historical facts. Later, over dinner, we wished we had invited Mary for ‘clinkies’. This tour was the highlight for me of three wonderful days spent in Bar Harbor! Many thanks Mary, you know your onions!
