First off, Canyon De Chelly is gorgeous, and everyone should visit, even if it's just to drive around the rim of the canyon. The tour into the canyon was lackluster, though. There are many other cars in the canyon giving tours, the stops are all fairly brief, and I felt like the tour guide was, at best, disinterested. This isn't that much of a slight on him, as it has to get old hauling people into the canyon all day, but for the price point, I would expect a little bit more. As a native Southwesterner, I know some of the information around the history of the Anasazi in the region (and the science of how the canyon came to be) wasn't completely correct, either, though it was interesting to hear about the history of the Navajos in the area.
