The location was easy to find .. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and there was an easy check in process . when we went back for the boat no was was there to greet us as we stood around for 15 minutes until someone approached us .- The boat itself was like very boat with the exception that it capped out at the 10 miles per hr, we’ve been to crab island several time but this particular boot was really slow .The distance was about 2 miles but took about 39 because our boat was slow .Crab island itself was amazing as usual . However we did get lost in the way back I think there should be gps installed on the boats . They also wil take an additional $250.00 off whomever booked for insurance purposes that you are will not get back immediately. I’ve never had that with any other boat rentals , but overall it was a good experience.

Good afternoon, good to hear that you enjoyed Crab Island and the check in process with our staff. We are sorry to hear about your experience with our vessel, that is not a typical speed. The hold on the card is new this year and is typical for all the pontoon companies in this area due to a rash of customers that abused the system. Unfortunately, plans had to be put in place to protect the company and the customer. Holds are always released as soon as the boat is returned without damage. Please come see us again and we will be sure that you get a zippy boat to get you across the bay. Thank you!

Get experience for the family. Crab island is amazing. The pontoon easy to operate. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

We were in Okaloosa Island/Fort Walton Beach for a friends wedding. The day after the wedding all 100 of us rented 10-12 pontoon boats from The Beach Weekend to go out to crab island. Walked in to the building to check in and immediately noticed how rude the employees were to everyone in our party. Specifically, Gretchen who I’m assuming is the manager? She talked to us like we were dumb and she was not happy to have our business. We have friends who are locals to the area and they said they have never been to a business that treated them this way. Spend your money at another business who will treat you nicely and be happy to serve you.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate all feedback. I am sorry that you felt that you were spoken to rudely. When 100 people are trying to all check in at once and it can be quite chaotic for the staff to funnel everyone through the process at once. As our system allows for everyone to sign electronically prior to coming and there are many laws and procedures in place that someone has to enforce, it can sometimes come across stern, not meant to be rude, especially when our guest to Florida do not understand all the new laws and procedures that the watersports companies must follow and make sure that the guest are following to ensure everyone's safety. From other members of the group that thanked our staff for a great time we were under the impression that was the consensus of the group. We are sorry to hear otherwise and will improve on making sure our large groups understand life jacket safety and other policies prior to arrival. Thank you for visiting the Emerald Coast and we hope that you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
