This is the one of the only private arctic circle tours offered in Fairbanks! On this customized tour, your guide will be completely focused on making sure you have the experience of a lifetime. Our guides have years of experience driving on the Dalton Highway. On this excursion you have the chance to see moose, wild caribou, wolves, the Alaska state bird (the ptarmigan) and other wildlife that live in the Interior of Alaska. As you drive along, your guide will share information about the plant life and other features you see, and share stories about the area.

We had a very enjoyable day. David was a great driver and guide. He mentioned things that he thought we would like to do on the trip and he listened to what we wanted to do. He picked us up on time and also got us back on time. Would definitely recommend this adventure.

Its a boring 12 hour car ride. You stop at a truck stop to eat where you pay for your own dinner even though it states dinner is included with your purchase. Save your money and book a 3rd tour.

Hi Kerri K, It is a 12 hour car ride. And it can be totally boring if the expectation is entertainment. Interior sub arctic Alaska is beautiful in an austere fashion. It is also incredibly interesting for someone who want to learn about a place and it's uniqueness. It is definitely not Disneyland, a movie, or tiktok. Our drivers are seasoned Alaskans who know the place and the road inside and out. Dave and Janey are a wealth of knowledge and incredible people.

We enjoyed the stop to see the pipeline, but I don’t feel like we learned much about it. We were disappointed that we spent 6 hours getting to the Arctic circle only to find out the tour there was just a sign and a small observation deck. Our tour guide was engaging and talked with us the entire time but we learned little about Alaska and a lot about him instead. We’re glad we did the tour so we can say we went to the Arctic circle but we wouldn’t recommend and suggest finding a different tour.
