The information that Drayton passed along to us stimulated memories of that day and the months and years that followed. Memories that should never fade or be forgotten. He put a human face on the brave firemen, other first responders and clean up volunteers who risked and sometimes lost their lives trying to save or find others. It was especially valuable for my two sons, who were either very young or not yet born, to hear about this deeply tragic part of our shared history. Drayton‘s narrative was both moving and important, and we are grateful to him for his daily efforts to be an active part of this memorial.
