Fantastic day out cycling around Manhattan! Our guide Frank was very knowledgeable, telling us loads of interesting facts about the city, and he was great company too! We (myself and 20yr old daughter) did a Brooklyn Giro tour of Brooklyn a couple of years ago and wouldn't even consider using another company because we were so impressed with our experience. Honestly can't fault it, a great way to do sightseeing.

Had a fantastic time riding around Manhattan with Frank. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and an overall great guide. We hit all the Manhattan attractions you'd want to see and he was even willing to make a bit of a detour to swing by something a fellow rider asked to visit. Good quality bikes, too. All in all, it was a fun day spent pedaling around NYC with good people. What's not to love? Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed the A Day in Manhattan tour offered by Brooklyn Giro Bike Tours. Our guide, Frank, was very personable and quite knowledgeable about the city and its rich history. The hybrid bicycles were in good repair and very comfortable to ride. The tour is about 20 miles in length and lasts about 5 hours, but it is paced well and not strenuous. We strongly suggest that riders be attentive to the starting location for each specific bike tour, because they do not always begin at the same place. While the riders are provided the address of the starting point for their tour by the tour provider, another family in our tour mistook the starting place for our tour as being in Brooklyn; however, it began in lower Manhattan. Waiting for these riders to arrive at the Manhattan location delayed the start of our tour by about 20 minutes. One suggestion we have for Brooklyn Giro Bicycle Tours is to text and/or email each tourist the day before their scheduled ride to remind them of their tour’s starting location and time. This gentle reminder may prevent the mix up about the starting location that members of our tour group experienced.

Thank you for the awesome review... Your suggestions are noted. Our email confirmations are sent immediately are the booking and the day before. Our reservation system also allows to opt in for text alerts. In our messages we say "make sure you are in the correct location... we have three" We have been operating for 7 years now, and while we get calls because our guests cannot find our location (NYC is a big place) or need help with navigating the subway (and alll this info is on our website), we have never had a guest go ALL THE WAY into Brooklyn for a tour that is in Manhattan?!? That was terrible for both them and you. While I was simply ready to rebook the guest or have them do our Brooklyn Tour, Frank, your awesome guide, decided to wait for them - and we thank you too for allowing them time to join your tour... the Manhattan ride is not a tour that goes out each day as it is one of our longests and most demanding on our guides, so again, we really appreciate you waiting so that we could consildate our efforts in the "city". On a lighter note - we hope to see at our Brooklyn location for a Brooklyn Tour on your next visit. All the best from Brooklyn Giro Bike Tours.
