Poor service but still fun! We have been touring Alaska on a ship for a few days and every tour we have been on has been wonderful. So we were a bit disappointed with the experience at Adventure Kart. The tour guides are quite young and not interested in earning extra tips. There are so many opportunities here to make more $$ such as having a photographer and selling the photos after. It was freezing cold, and while they do provide waterproof overalls and coats, they do not provide gloves or boots. If you go in the rainy season - make sure to bring WATERPROOF gloves and shoes. There was a ride to a beautiful waterfall and again, a missed opportunity with a lecture from one of the guides with the quietest voice I have ever not heard. He didn’t offer to take photos for us with our phones. And we were all freezing! I’d would be so easy to bring a carafe of hot chocolate to enjoy at the half way point. When you get back the only heater provided is conveniently in the gift shop! That said, one of the better select rooms of Tshirt and Sweatshirt designs we have seen on our trip. I think it would have been much more enjoyable had we been told to bring waterproof protection for hands and feet, or better yet if they had also provided them for us. Just didn’t feel like they were excited or enthused to have us there.
