Dre' was our tour operator. He is very passionate about the tour. He is very knowledgeable. I went back and forth about writing this review, but I felt that I needed to get this off of my chest. There was one African American lady who was late and attributed her lateness on being Black. I was offended because I am also Black and are hardly late for anything, but it seemed like instead of Dre' "laughing it off" or redirecting what was said, he addressed it like it was a personal attack. Throughout the tour he made reference to her and even suggested that she did not know her left from her right. She picked up on his sarcasm and asked him was he picking on her, but he sarcastically denied it. Before I knew it, he addressed me. I was having issues with my allergies and fell asleep during the tour. When it was time to get off the bus he sarcastically told me that I could stay on the bus if I needed to get more sleep. I responded by saying that I hadn't had my coffee. The mood on the bus was somber. I do not think that people wanted to ask questions because we did not want to be "fronted off" in front of strangers. Maybe Dre' was having a bad day. The highlight was going to the African-American History Museum. Once again, Dre' was knowledgeable, but definitely not personable or sensitive to others. I still gave him a tip, but if I took the tour again, and saw that he was the guide, I would think twice before getting on the bus.

Dear tonyad20, We are sorry to hear that your experience was not the best, we would appreciate it if you would give us an opportunity to reverse this experience either in the cities of Washington DC or New York and we invite you to see our new fleet of buses and convertible Mercedes, likewise these practices have left aside since new procedures have been implemented for the hiring of tourguides, unfortunately some tourguides as people have a different temperament. we understand perfectly with a friendly and empathetic guide changes the course of the experience.
