Alcatraz Island

Once you take the ferry over to Alcatraz Island and you are dropped off, you will make your way up to the main prison building, where you receive an audio headset, and the audio tour will guide you through the Alcatraz Prison. Once the audio tour is over, you can continue taking pictures and exploring the Island, or you can walk back down to the ferry landing and hop on the next ferry headed back to San Francisco. The Alcatraz tour typically takes 2-3 hours to enjoy.

Super good service! They explained everything in detail and gave us the option to choose the bikes a day before or after the tour to alcatraz, which makes the experience much easier.

I made a reservation through Expedia. The plan is to go to the shop on the day, pick up the ticket and bike, and head to Alcatraz Island. The owner was very kind and told me about other recommended spots to go to by bike other than Alcatraz Island, and also gave me a flexible time to return the bike. It seems that ferry tickets can sell out, so it's safer to make a reservation in advance. San Francisco has a somewhat hilly terrain, so those with limited physical strength are recommended to take the bus, but cycling is very refreshing and recommended. After sightseeing on Alcatraz Island, we went to the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. The owner will ask you to park your bike inside pier33, but it was a little difficult to understand, so I'll explain it just in case. When you arrive at pier33, there is something like an entrance gate. The bicycle parking lot is near the warehouse on the right side after entering from the entrance gate. At first glance, it seems like a place you shouldn't enter by bike, but when I asked the staff, they were happy to tell me. Thanks to the kind owner, it was a great trip! I'm sorry I'm late in writing a review, even though I promised to!

I bought it to go to Alcatraz Island only. The official website said they no longer had tickets because I looked at the last minute, but this place still had tickets. We got there and there was already a letter with the paper with the two required QR codes and the employee's explanation of the procedure to go. Everything worked normally and we were able to visit. We do not use bicycle rentals.
