Amish Experience
We (myself and the wife) did the Super Saver deal and we loved it.
Started off with the House Tour with DeAnne which is a must see! You get to learn a lot in short space of time and DeAnne was great, answering our many questions and telling us about other local spots to visit afterwards like the Gordonville Book Store, she was always happy to help.
Next we did the Theatre experience which was great too! Not just a screen with a video but an immersive environment and story.
We then took the 90 minute bus tour around the area and Bill W, our driver, kept the commentary running and again answered all our questions and was really knowledgeable. We drove past 2 weddings, a few Amish schools at recess time and stopped at a local Amish run store where he and Daniel, an Amish boy running the shop, had a good friendship and banter.
Bill also stopped briefly at a covered bridge to let us take some photos from outside the bus as it was quite quiet at our time of year.
After lunch at Plain and Fancy (we've written a separate review for this) where we stuff ourselves solid on a shared table with 6 of us, we then went onto the included buggy ride of Aaron and Jessica's. Ruben was our driver and he again was great. (separate review).
All in all we really enjoy the whole experience and would recommend it if you're interested in the Amish community.
