We had a wonderful VIP tour on 9-16-19. Jay, our tour guide, was informative, friendly, and funny. The families we met were so nice and we learned a lot. At the home of the Kings, who graciously invited us into their home, my eight-year-old granddaughter got to play with Mary, an Amish girl her age, and her sisters. What a nice surprise. However, they actually spent the entire hour talking and sharing about their lives. Ali has asked to go back next year to see Mary, and she plans on writing to her. Alvin, the fourteen-year-old Amish boy who gave us a tour of the dairy farm, couldn't have been more intelligent and well spoken. And we truly enjoyed seeing the beautiful woodwork -furniture, wheels, chests, lighting- of Isaac Lapp. I'd like to take the tour again also, to meet other great Amish people.
