This was our first trip like this to learn about Amish life. Our guide, Jim was wonderful, friendly, and provided us with lots of information. We started out visiting an Amish business for wood working. We were able to ask the maker questions and even got to see some of his children working in the shop. The next stop was at an Amish families home. Once at this stop, we went inside the home (first floor only) to look at how simple life can be. The last stop we made was to an Amish farm to learn about the milking process. After they milked a cow, we were able to feed some calves. Before departing, we had the opportunity to shop at their little store. You can buy milk, cheese, vegetable, etc. This tour is absolutely worth the time and money! If you are looking for a unique Amish experience during your visit then go on the Visit-In-Person tour!!
