Departs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday approximately 6-6:30 am and returns approximately 5:30-6:00 pm. (Duration 11.5 hours)

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is the intimate Grand Canyon experience (although technically located in Glen Canyon.) The trailhead to this 3/4 mile hike is located just outside of Page, Arizona. It overlooks one of the most spectacular views on the Colorado River, 4 miles south of the Glen Canyon Dam, and 7 miles north of mile zero of the Grand Canyon.

We really enjoyed our day. Sheldon was fantastic and very attention-to-detail oriented. He was constantly checking to make sure we were hydrated, giving advice and the best ways to approach each stop, attentive to bathroom needs, confirming that we had enough time and didn't feel rushed, etc. Antelope Canyon was on my bucket list and I was super excited to cross it off. The beauty of the area is unnatched. It is a long day with a lot of driving, but we got to see so much and enjoyed not having to do the driving ourselves and getting all the history and trivia along the way.

Great tour, awesome tour guide. Kirt had so much knowledge he shared with us and was so friendly and congenial. The slot canyons were unbelievably beautiful. So many great pictures.

Brian was wonderful- Very knowledgeable and helpful! We did the Sedona- Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam tour. It is a full day, but well worth it! We learned so much about the land and its inhabitants and so fortunate that we had a very beautiful day- even with a quick cooling rain. Brian kept us entertained and on time. Even the lunch experience was great- good food and streamlined process Highly recommend- a must do!
