I was hesitant about going after reading the reviews. This was my first experience seeing a drag performance, but we really wanted to go to one in Key West. Performance was fun and engaging. A little raunchy at times. True to the other reviews, the performers do spend A LOT of time walking around looking for tips. It does take away from the overall show, but the music, lights, costuming and their good humor make up for that a bit in my opinion. Our server was attentive and we had preordered a bottle of Prosecco when we purchased our tickets so we didn’t have to keep ordering drinks. Bring plenty of singles and be prepared to have some fun.

My friend and I thought we would attend a Drag Show while we were in Key West. We have been to Drag Shows in Provincetown, MA that were phenomenal and were excited to see one in Key West. This show at Aqua was no different than a strip club. The queens were lip syncing songs and asking the audience to put money in their bras or garters. Zero talent. Save your money!!!

I have been to drag shows before where there is an mc and a variety of ways the show is entertaining. Aqua does one thing over and over and over. Lip sinc, then walk around the audience collecting money and interacting with the audience. After an hour and 45 minutes of the same thing I was bored. There was not much effort or planning for this show.
