This was an excellent tour. I've lived in the 757 area for a long time but never made the time to visit Richmond. A food tour was at the top my list of things to do. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour around the different districts. When we return to Richmond, we definitely know which restaurants to come back for! Rachel was an excellent guide, very kind and knowledgeable. She made this a food, historical & art tour, rolled into one. My only gripe, is the a couple of the restaurants were packed, so we had to enjoy our food outside. But we'll be booking another tour for our next visit as well!

You definitely have to make time for Richmond when you live so close! And you're right about the busy restaurants, but when given the choice between experiencing Mama J's outside or not at all, well for me, it's no contest - we're having those catfish nuggets! I was really happy with this tour. We have lived near Richmond for 14 years and I had never been to any of these restaurants and might not even have gone in to them if I wasn't on this tour. It was really hard to pick out my favorite. I liked each one of them "the Best". I was given the tour as a Christmas gift from my daughter. It was really special because we really don't want any more "stuff" to dust or take care of, besides,we travel "a Lot". and it was great finding really good food in my own back yard. In the future, I want to do this with friends and I plan to go to different parts of the City. Good Luck in the future.

Rachel was a great guide!! Enjoyed talking to chef’s and owners of some fun restaurants you might not try!! Greenleaf’s Pool Room was a great surprise with the best grilled cheese and deviled eggs and Charm School Social Club’s salted caramel ice cream was a great way to end the tour!!
