There is no better way to DISCOVER and EXPLORE Asheville! Hop-on board one of Gray Line’s nostalgic trolleys for a fully narrated journey, highlighting the history, homes, hang-outs and hot spots of this “city of surprises.” The complete tour (one loop) lasts approximately 90 to 100 minutes. There is an additional 15 minute stop at the Asheville Visitor Center.

Tour Highlights include Downtown Asheville, Montford Historic District, The Grove Park Inn and Grove Park Historic District, Thomas Wolfe District, Pack Square and Asheville Art Museum, Grove Arcade, River Arts District, and South Slope Brewing District

Trolley hours vary by season. April - October (daily, every 30 minutes), November (daily, every 60 minutes), December - February (Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat, every 60 minutes), March (daily, every 60 minutes). *Please Note: Final departures are for re-boarding passengers only.

We had never taken a trolley excursion before. We were surprised by the knowledge, Uncle Ted knew and offered. Wasn't a boring trip at all. He kept us entertained for sure. Wanted to go to more restaurants along the way, but most didn't open till 4pm. Definitely worth the price we paid for the trip.

Tour was very good however the Trolley needed maintenance. The Trolley rattled so loudly it was difficult to hear the tour guide. It also needed shocks. Every bump was painful to our backs. For the price of the tour you would think they would maintain the Trolley!

Love this tour! Life wife and I are "locals", but we take guests on this tour whenever they come to town. The tour is fun, informative, comfortable, and highly entertaining. Our driver & guide, Matt, was excellent. Be sure to ask for the "locals" discount when buying your tickets at the visitor's center.
