Formed by several hundred thousand years of erosion, the Badlands formations expose the layers of millions of years of the regions history. It is a landscape that makes you feel as though you’ve landed on Mars.

On this day trip, we pedal the nice, moderate Badlands Loop Road for just under 30 miles through the heart of the pinnacles and lower shale formations to the other end of the northern segment of Badlands National Park, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. There are also longer options available if desired.

Enjoy close up views of wildlife and take in the breathtaking views of Badlands National Park. Enjoying this area by bicycle is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Riding bikes through Badlands NP is an excellent way to experience this beautiful nature. Kevin was an excellent guide explaining the history and evolution of the rock structures. He also spotted wildlife much faster than us because he knows where they roam. He also gave us tips on various other sights to see in the area. Kevin was great!! The bike ride was 23 miles up and down hills and sometimes flat. Not too difficult but still challenging. Lunch and snacks and water were provided. Overall great experience we would highly recommend!

Randy was great and I had fun riding an ebike in Badlands! We started at pinnacles entrance and got to the visitors center, which was about 22miles!

EVERY part was my favorite part! Kevin was a great tour guide sharing so much information about the area surrounding the badlands as well as the badlands on our drive out. He provided maps and additional info about the ride we were going to do so we could be prepared. The bike was TOP NOTCH. Kevin and Volanda (his MIL from Australia, who joined him for assistance) accompanied us in the van and leap-frogged us to each scenic view stop along the 22 mile route. They made sure our equipment was still in top-notch shape, that we were hydrated, that we were feeling okay, and to provide tips and information for the distance to the next stop. At the end, they made us a great lunch. The return drive was filled with more info about the area. He knew the answers to all of our questions! We were with a small group - Kevin and Melina took the care to confirm everyone was COVID vaccinated and requested we wear masks in the van for extra precaution, which I really appreciated! We lucked out and had perfect weather, but regardless, this was an awesome way to see the badlands and get some exercise while we were at it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
