We decided somewhat last minute that we wanted to go rock climbing in Joshua Tree and booked a tour with Mojave Guides through Viator. I initially asked the company about whether someone with MS would be able to climb and was touched that Seth did the research and learned more about the disease to be able to fully answer the question. Our family member with MS didn't end up attending, but the effort was so appreciated. We had an absolute BLAST climbing. Murphy was a wonderful guide that accommodated our climbing levels and preferences on a windy day. He was very funny, encouraging, and even taught one of our group to belay. He made sure everyone had a great time and answered every single question we had. Booking through Viator, I wasn't necessarily sure what to expect - I was absolutely thrilled with our experience. I would highly recommend Mojave Guides and Murphy. Climbing in Joshua Tree was such a unique way to experience the park and I am so grateful for the memories.

We all had a blast. They were able to tailor our trip for a 6 yr old to a 65 yr old and everything in between. Our guide, Murphy, was skilled, encouraging, fun and great with kids. Booking online was simple, they were understandable when I had to change the number of climbers last minute, and the price was competitive. Thanks for the great adventure!

I am soooooo glad I signed up for a climbing experience in Joshua Tree NP and with Mojave Guides! Matt was awesome! He was patient, fun, safety focused and provided me with a wonderful climbing adventure. I ended up being the only climber for the day ~ thank you for going with one person Mojave Guides!!!!!! This was a great treat for my 61st bday!!! I had climbed over 30 years ago and it was so fun to be climbing in the gem of climbing worlds! Matt was wonderful in explaining everything and letting me practice and re-learn techniques. I highly recommend Mojave Guides and treating yourself to a climbing experience during your stay! Sign up for the morning climb to enjoy a quite time in the Park and cooler temps.
