Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

All the guides were kind, and patient and knew what they were doing. They made us feel safe which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience even though we had never done something like this before. Henry was our guide in the raft itself and he helped us navigate the river in a fun, exciting, and informative way. We were 4 in total with two teenagers so it was perfect for having enough paddling force. We noticed another raft that had a family with young children and it was adorable because the little ones sit in the middle and enjoy the ride while the parents and guide do all the work.

We had a group of 46, and from the moment I called, it was smooth. Waivers were clear, payment was easy. We got there, and were set up with the safety instructions and gear. We had kids from 6 up and everyone had so much fun. Tanner was amazing as a guide, and we appreciated his sense of humor and knowledge and had a lot of laughs. Swag was appropriately priced, and we would do it again in a heart beat.
