Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

We did their beginner course with our daughters 12, 10 and 7. None of us had ever white water rafted before. Aaron was our guide and was wonderful. He was very patient and encouraging. He provided good information along the way and did a great job navigating us down the river. He helped to get us some splashes and fun while we still all felt safe. The trip was the highlight of our vacation for most of us and would love to do this again!

This was so much fun! The water is really cold and you do get wet so I would definitely recommend getting a wet suit. The guides are fun and really keep you engaged and entertained. I would recommend 100% and will be doing it again next time we come back to Colorado.

This was my 14-year-old son's first whitewater rafting trip, and we couldn't have been happier. Mark was a terrific guide and had us ready to handle the first rapids, which come almost immediately. The water is very cold and you'll appreciate the wetsuit even on a hot day. Would definitely come back for another trip, maybe we'll do the Advanced one next time.
