Our tour guide, Bradley, was terrific; very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and accommodating. It is an interesting, behind the scenes perspective.

This was a wonderful experience for our grandson's 12th birthday, who also happens to be a huge Padres fan and LOVES baseball. He had been on a similar tour but said this one was "much better!" His dream was sit in the dug out--mission accomplished! Our tour guide, Jim, was awesome. Loaded with information and anecdotal stories. I would highly recommend this tour for locals as well as tourists.

We did a pregame tour of Petco Park prior to the game against the Giants in Sept 2023. Overall, it was a disappointment. The overall sell of the tour is to watch Padres batting practice before gates open to the general public. The tour guide dodged our questions about batting practice the entire tour by saying he didn’t know if they were going to do it that day. 20 minutes into the tour, it was pretty apparent the Padres wouldn’t be doing outdoor batting practice. So instead, the guide took us around Petco and we got to see all the cool seating areas you have to be $$$$$ to sit in - luxury suites, Gallagher box, Home Plate seating section. Paid $700 for a group of 8 to see seats we’ll probably never sit in. At the end of the tour, the guide dumped us at the Padres hall of fame and security told us to go wait in line outside before gates opened to the general public. Lame. *As a comparison, we did a tour of Wrigley Field a month ago. It was much cheaper (only $30pp) and the tour was amazing. So much rich history at that ballpark. Great stories. Got to see the Ivy, sit in the bleachers, etc.
