Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, a top Northern Lights viewing spot near Fairbanks, favored by Aurora photographers. The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Relax in a cozy Alaskan-style cabin with six large windows providing over 180° of stunning views while enjoying hot chocolate in comfort.

* 1,500 sq ft new cabin, built in summer 2023
* Free portrait photography
* Indoor restroom
* Unlimited hot chocolate, coffee, tea, snacks, board games, etc.

Tour Options:
* With transfer (pickup and drop-off): Available from all Fairbanks and North Pole hotels, Airbnbs, etc.
* No transfer: Drive your rental car to the cabin. The roads are well-maintained and in good condition.

Everything about this tour was wonderful! The transportation, the host & spacious & warm lodge accommodations made for a comfortable night. Unfortunately for us cloudy conditions meant no auroras for us. However I would highly recommend this tour.

Pick up at the hotel on time. Cozy and Comfortable cabins, with enough space for about 25-30 guests to relax and wait for the lights to show up. David is knowledgeable on when the lights would show up and advises on the camera settings to capture the Northern Lights. During our tour, the lights showed up twice, one at the very end of our time of return and we weren’t rushed and given ample time to enjoy the show. Highly recommend the tour!

David was amazing; driver, photographer, had snacks and hot drinks ready and told us when to get outside to see the show by Lady Aurora. It was a phenomenal experience!
