You can probably find these places on your own, but the information that Michelle shares makes this more than worthwhile. We started with a pork taco from a food truck, really yummy. Then off to a sushi stop, very fresh and informative, and then some gelato. At each stop the owner or a representative talked about their food. Off to the market at Poipo Village, to sample with abandon, baked goods, Kobe sliders fruits, and soups. We finished at Merrimans with fried local green tomatoes and a fruit lemonade. Many of us wandered the market for awhile longer. This was a great way to spend an afternoon, and learn about the food and culture of this island. Michelle also gave us great ideas for other places to visit. FYI, you drive yourselves from place to place, and they are all fairly close to each other.
