Meeting the chefs or owners and hearing the history of restaurants was so much fun and the food was so delicious. Michelle, the tour guide, was engaging and a lot of fun. it opened my eyes to 2 restaurants and food trucks that i wouldn't have partonized before, but knowing that they are farm to table, I would go for a lunch or dinner. this is my 10th year in a row to visit Kauai and it is perfect for a foodie and educational new thing to do. Visiting the St Regis and meeting the pastry chef was very special. another great touch was the chefs later in the tour providing to go boxes for the yummy food. small group is very nice and an added bonus: two other tparticipants were so much fun that we went out to dinner the next night.
