The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park. This wildlife safari will make frequent stops as opportunities for wildlife viewing present themselves.

  • The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

We spent the day Touring Yellowstone with our guide Jedediah, and another guide who was as familiar with the park as he was, but who was just starting with the company (she did snow-cat tours in Yellowstone during the winter). They took turns driving, and pointing out all their favorite spots along the way. There is NO WAY we ever would have been able to see what we saw in a single day without going on this tour. The timing of everything they chose for us to see was perfect, and even timed the bathroom breaks. We were right there up front and center when Old Faithful erupted, and saw LOTS of other geysers with no real eruption schedule, go off all around us. The experiences were magical. We saw moose, fox, elk, bison and more, and learned SO much about everything in the park. There was not one thing these guides didn't want to talk about, and know like they had written the books about it. In fact, it seemed they had both read all the books about the history and geology of Yellowstone, and quoted passages here and there. At one point, we had a really nice picnic, in an out of the way spot, and there were plenty of snacks and drinks to keep us happy all day. I thought a 12 hour trip would be too much, but we spent a lot of time outside and walking, and it really flew by. Jed was happy to take our pictures any time we asked, and he just could not have been nicer and more accommodating. This tour was perfect, and WELL worth the money and time. I feel like we saw so much, and couldn't possibly have done more, without ever feeling rushed in any way. We could have stayed anywhere as long as we wanted but Jed kept it all moving along, and loved it all just as much as we did. We had the 2 guides, and us and one other couple so it was a small group and it felt like we were all experiencing it all together in the same way. Thanks to you all for a once-in-a-lifetime experience my wife and I will never forget!

We wanted a mother-daughter trip to Yellowstone and didn’t even know where to begin with planning so opted for a tour with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. So glad we did! Our guide Irwin was outstanding. He knew how to avoid the crowds so we could maximize our time in the park but still see all the sites. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. And as an added plus, he’s a professional photographer so he helped us get amazing photos! Additionally, the SUV was very clean and comfortable and lunch was so delicious. They even provide snacks, drinks and binoculars. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

Jeremay was a remarkable tour guide. What a spectacular day at Yellowstone National Park, that we will never forget. His hawklike eyes in spotting 399 and all of the other animals in their natural habitat was truly incredible. His photography work made our photos exceptional. Lunch catering to my dietary needs was great also. There were plenty of healthy snacks available all day. The day we spent with Jeremay, was our trip highlight. He timed seeing Old Faithful erupting was spot on. A full day tour with this company should be on one’s bucket list.
