Sarah was the best! Her knowledge was phenomenal! We throughly enjoyed every minute of it and learned so much. Would recommend it to everyone who wants a great historical experience.

Along with the ghost and haunting tours, is Bewitched Walking Tour of Salem, which offers visitors the actual history of the Salem Witch trials. Learning the real stories about the individuals who lead the efforts and the victims, is an eye-opening look at a time in history that echoes some of our more-recent history. The tour leader provides enormous historical details from the written events that really shock, yet the 2 hours are very entertaining. Jeff engaged our group in a mini- trial re-enactment which was fascinating, especially when the tour ended at the witchcraft memorial where we heard how each victim’s fate was decided as we read their name etched into a stone bench.

Well, the other tours are talking about random hauntings. These guys are actually giving you a full history and background to why the witch trials happened. They have a deep respect for those that were wrongfully persecuted, and share their passion for honoring these people.
